Commercial Manager

Purpose of the Position: Developing and implementing the company’s commercial strategy to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key clients and suppliers.
  • Lead negotiations with major stakeholders to secure the best terms for the company.
  • Review and approve procurement and commercial contracts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to target markets and clients.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and ensure alignment with market conditions.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Financial Planning and Control
  • Manage financial planning, including CAPEX and OPEX budgeting.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary goals.
  • Analyze costs and implement measures for cost optimization.
  • Monitor and ensure the delivery of profit improvement initiatives. Implement profit improvement programs.
  • Represent the company in external meetings and negotiations.
  • Ensure the legality and compliance of all financial and business activities.
  • Handle disputes, manage credit, and debit notes efficiently.
  • Ensure timely resolution of claims and outstanding issues.
  • Identify and assess business risks, proposing mitigation strategies.


Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Economics or a Technical field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Expertise in sales strategy, financial planning, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of the wood-based panel industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in contract review and legal compliance processes.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • English – C1.
