Purpose of the Position: Purchasing materials and services for construction and investment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase construction materials such as sand, crushed stone, metal structures, and cement.
Build and manage a supplier portfolio, ensuring the availability of quality resources.
Organize and manage tender processes for investment projects.
Collect, compare, and negotiate supplier offers to secure the best solutions.
Define and communicate technical specifications to suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contracts and delivery schedules.
Control delivery terms and schedules.
Handle claims and disputes with suppliers when contract terms are violated.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities following company policies.
Prepare reports on procurement performance and material usage for management review.
Requirements:
University degree: technical education is an advantage, civil construction is a strong plus.
Minimum 2 years in procurement, preferably in construction or investment projects.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Problem-solving mind-set with a focus on results.
English – B1 is a plus.
